Immunisation and Vaccinations

Physiotherapy
Patients with muscle or joint problems can access physiotherapy advice and treatment through the NHS Lanarkshire MSK website.
You can also text 07812267104 with your name, address and postcode and they with send a form out to you.
Self-referral
Refer yourself to a health service such as talking therapies without having to see a GP first.

Advice and tools to help you look after yourself. Includes mental wellbeing, eating well, contraception, immunisation and help to stop smoking.
Gun Licensing
There has been a change in the legislation behind gun licenses.
As a practice we have discussed this topic at length and consider ourselves conscientious objectors in this regard.
As a result it is our policy not to complete the report form generated by Police Scotland. We are keen prevent any difficulty for our patients though and are happy to provide those that require it a full copy of their medical records and / or targeted letter so that these might be used for an independent assessment, either through Police Scotland or a private GP.
Please get in contact with us if you wish a full copy of your medical records in this regard and we can provide you with a form to request these.
Non-NHS Services
Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. We may choose to under take these services but reserve the right to decline. Examples include the following:
- Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
- Insurance claim forms
- Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
- Private sick notes
- Holiday cancellation form
- Private Health Questionaire forms
The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.
