Outwith normal surgery hours a recorded message will give you the number of the duty doctor.

NHS24 also provide services from 18:00 on weekdays and all weekends and public holidays.

If you need medical help now, use NHS 24 online or Call 111.

NHS 24 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

The Extended Access Service has more appointments with GPs available, making it easier for you to get an appointment at a time that suits you, including evenings and weekends. These are available on a Monday and Wednesday evening, allowing patients to be seen up to 18:30. There is also a session on a Tuesday morning from 07:30.

How do I book an appointment?

Contact your GP practice in the usual way to request an appointment. 

The surgery will be closed on Monday 4th May and Monday 25th May for the bank holidays. If you have a medical emergency when the surgery is closed please call 111.
